Saudi Arabia - Postpone Enforcement Time for Vehicle eCall Function

​SASO issued a circular to postpone the mandatory application of Saudi Standard (SASO 2944:2023), titled “Motor Vehicles – Technical Requirements for (eCall) Emergency Call”, as referenced in Annex (1) of the Technical Regulation for Electric Vehicles, Accordingly the mandatory application date for all types of vehicle models will be effective starting from January 1, 2028. ​
