Saudi Arabia - 4th Edition IEC 62368-1 Adopted by SASO

​SASO has adopted the 4th edition of IEC 62368-1, as published on the platform.

As per the technical regulations, the applicable standards should align with the latest published editions.
The 3rd edition of IEC 62368-1 (IEC 62368-1:2018) will continue to be accepted until further notice.
Accordingly, test reports based on IEC 62368-1:2018 can be accepted for the time being. However, updated test reports in accordance with the 4th edition must be provided during the PCOC renewal process.​​​
