Peru - Postponement of Mandatory Energy Efficiency Certification of Energy Using Equipment - Supreme Decree No. 011-2020-EM

​The Supreme Decree No 011-2020-EM from the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Peru postponed the mandatory certification of energy using equipment according to the following calendar:

• Refrigeration Equipment, Washing Machines, Tumble Dryers, Air Conditioners and Water Heaters (Instantaneous Gas): September 1st 2020 (was April 1st 2020):

Other equipment remain unchanged:

• Lamps (Incandescent, CFL and LED): since November 23rd 2019

• Fluorescent Lamp Ballasts: after January 23rd 2021

• Boilers for Industrial Use: not defined yet

• Three Phase Electric Motors: since December 3rd 2019

• Water Heaters (Storage Electric, Instantaneous Electric and Storage Gas): January 23rd 2021.
