Peru (MINAM) - New Permissible Emission Levels for All Vehicle Applications

​On January 6, 2022, the Ministry of Environment of Peru issued the new permissible emissions' levels for all new vehicle applications sold in the country under Supreme Decree N° 010-2017-MINAM.

As an example of their latest efforts to reduce CO2 levels, from 2024 on, passenger vehicles below 3.5 tons must comply with EURO 6 standards.
