Paraguay - Transposition of Mercosur Regulation on Food Contact Materials

​Paraguay has incorporated several Mercosur regulations on Food Contact Materials in their local law according to Official Gazette of February 20th 2019. It means the regulations are now enforced in the country:

• Decree No. 1319/2019: Mercosur Regulation No. 30/2007 on Post-Consumer Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) Packaging in Contact with Food
• Decree No. 1326/2019: Mercosur Regulation No. 32/2007 on Positive List of Additives for Plastic Materials Intended for the Manufacture of Packages and Equipment in Contact with Foods
