Oman - Adoption of GSO Regulation for Water Consumption Conservation Products

​In April 2024, Oman Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIP) has adopted the Gulf Technical Regulation for water conservation products (MC-230503-01​), as Omani technical regulation. 

The regulation applies to following types of products. Detailed product list is provided in Annex 1 of regulation:

- Water taps

- Shower mixers

- Urinal systems​

- Water closet​ tanks​

 This regulation will come into force for Oman market from January 28, 2025.
