Mongolia - Resolution No. 24 on Revised Procedure for Certification of Information and Communication Equipment
Earlier in Feb 2026, the revised "Procedure for Certification of Information and Communication Equipment" was approved via the Resolution of the Communications Coordinating Committee No. 24.
With the adoption of this Resolution, Resolution No. 29 of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission "On Approval of the Procedure for Certification of Information and Communication Equipment Models" dated August 19, 2019 is hereby repealed.
The Telecommunications Regulatory Commisiion shall certify those regulated equipment included in the list of products subject to conformity assurance approval.
Certification is divided into 3 categories according to its use. These include:
- Import verification;
- Domestic production certification;
- Export certification
Accordingly, the validity of the Certificate of Conformity ranges from 3 years to 4 years, depending on the Scheme type (1a, 4, 6, 7).
