Mexico - Draft PROY-NOM-019-SE-2020 Data Processing Equipment Safety Requirements

This Official Mexican Standard draft establishes safety requirements for information technology equipment (Data Processing Equipment) and associated equipment, which use electricity from the public mains supply, as well as other energy sources, such as cells, batteries, accumulators, self-generation and alternative power sources, with single-phase supply voltages from 100 V a.c. to 277 V a.c. at 60 Hz and / or three-phase voltages from 173 V a.c. to 480 V a.c. between phases at 60 Hz, to operate until 3000 meters above sea level.

Draft PROY-NOM-019-SE-2020 would replace NOM-019-SCFI-1998 and cancel PROY-NOM-019-SCFI-2016.
