Mexico - Draft Decree that Issues the Telecommunications and Broadcasting Law

​The Mexican government has approved a Draft Decree issuing the Telecommunications and Broadcasting Law. 

This legislation establishes the Digital Transformation and Telecommunications Agency (Agencia de Transformación Digital y Telecomunicaciones - ATDT) as the authoritative body for Mexico's telecommunications and broadcasting sector, with responsibilities ranging from regulation to public policy formulation. 

The regulation aims to enhance the efficient use of the radioelectronic spectrum and support Mexico’s digital transformation and technological advancement.
