Mexico Federal Telecommunications Institute proposed Decision of the Plenary Meeting of the Federal Telecommunications Institute issuing "Technical Provision IFT-012-2019: Technical specifications for compliance with the maximum levels of non-ionizing radioelectric emissions of telecommunications products, equipment, devices and appliances that may be connected to a telecommunications network and/or use the radio spectrum. Specific absorption rate (SAR)"

The notified Technical Provision establishes the technical specifications for compliance with the maximum levels of non-ionizing radioelectric emissions of telecommunications products, equipment, devices and appliances that may be connected to a telecommunications network and/or use the radio spectrum in the 30 MHz to 6 GHz frequency range, by means of the specific absorption rate (SAR) measured in proximity to the human body.
