Malaysia - Minimum Energy Performance Standards Requirement for Television Update

​Energy Commission Malaysia (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) published an update for Minimum Energy Performance Standard (MEPS) Requirement for television.

The update informs that the date of execution for the fulfillment of the minimum energy performance standards for television will be one year starting from 1 May 2019.

New MEPS Requirement testing standards are MS IEC 62301:2012 and MS IEC 62087-3:2017

​​All of the manufacturing, importing, selling and displaying electrical equipment activities shall be accompanied by a copy of MEPS test report which complies with the MEPS requirements in the guide.
