Japan - Partial Amendment of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Radio Act ,etc.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) announced that the Partial Amendment of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Radio Act, etc. entered into force on June 23, 2026.
This amendment revises the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Radio Act, etc. to establish technical standards for 920 MHz band spatial transmission wireless power transfer systems for outdoor use and for specified low-power radio stations.
