Japan - DENAN - Revision of “About Interpretation of Ministerial Ordinance for Establishing Technical Requirements for Electrical Appliances and Materials"

It was announced by METI that Appendix 10 and Appnedix 12 of “About Interpretation of Ministerial Ordinance for Establishing Technical Requirements for Electrical Appliances and Materials" were revised on August 29, 2025. (Effective date: August 31, 2025)

Summary of this announcement:

Appendix 10:
Appendix 10 (the Japan-specific standard for Noise strength) has been consolidated into harmonized standards in Appendix 12 in accordance with international standards.

Appendix 12:
To reflect the latest international technical trends, the adopted JIS standards corresponding to the international standards(IEC standards) has been replaced with the latest version of JIS standards.
