Indonesia - Public Consultation on the List of Telecommunication Equipment That Must Meet Technical Standards

​The text of the Draft Decree of the Minister of Communication and Digital includes:​

- Determination of a list of telecommunication devices and/or telecommunication devices, including other tools and/or devices that have telecommunication features, which must meet technical standards;
- The list of telecommunication devices and/or telecommunication devices and other tools and/or devices that have telecommunication features is prepared based on the harmonized system code in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations;
- The inclusion of the harmonized system code in this Ministerial Decree is an administrative instrument of supervision and is not a reference in the determination of the harmonized system code for the type of goods in the customs settlement process;
- In the event that there are telecommunication devices and/or telecommunication devices and other tools and/or devices that have telecommunication features that are not yet listed in the Attachment to this Ministerial Decree, they are still required to meet technical standards; and
-This Draft Ministerial Decree comes into effect 30 (thirty) calendar days from the date it is determined.​
