Indonesia - Public Consultation on the Implementation of Electronic Systems in Child Protection

​The Draft Ministerial Regulation (RPM) regulates the following:

CHAPTER I - General Provisions
General definitions that contain the terminologies of the regulation in the torso of the RPM; and the scope of the RPM which includes: Information on the minimum age limit of the Child who can use the Products, Services and Features; Risk Profile Assessment of Products, Services, and Features; and Supervision of the Implementation of Electronic Systems in Child Protection.

CHAPTER II - Information on Minimum Age Limits for Children to Use Products, Services, and Features
Minimum age limit for children to use Products, Services, and Features organized and developed by Electronic System Operators (PSEs); and PSE's obligation to conduct an independent assessment in ensuring that the Products, Services and Features developed comply with the minimum age restrictions and age range of the child.

CHAPTER III - Risk Profile Assessment of Products, Services and Features
PSE's obligation to conduct a risk level assessment of the Products, Services and Features developed and/or organized by PSE; Risk assessment indicators of Products, Services and Features developed and/or organized by PSE; and Mechanism for verifying the results of self-assessment conducted by PSE.

CHAPTER IV - Supervision of the Implementation of Electronic Systems in Child Protection​ etc.
