Indonesia - Draft Decree on Mandatory SNI for Glazed Ceramic - Tableware, Closets, and Ceramic Tiles

​Regulation of Minister of Industry No. 48 of 2018 has been revoked and replaced by Regulation of Minister of Industry No. 14 of 2025 regarding Mandatory Implementation of Indonesia National Standard for Glazed Ceramic - Tableware and Drinkware. 

The Regulation covers the issuance of SNI certificate using type 5 and type 1n certification scheme, production process assessment and implementation of ISO 9001:2015 , including product quality testing based on: SNI 7275:2022 for Glazed Ceramic - Tableware and Drinkware. with tariff post/harmonized system (HS) numbers: ex. 6911.10.00 and ex. 6912.00.00
Domestic or imported Glazed Ceramic - Tableware and Drinkware products produced before this regulation may still be distributed for a maximum of 1 (one) year from the enforcement date.​
