​India Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion proposed Notice on  Plugs and Socket-outlets and Alternating Current Direct Connected Static Prepayment Meters for Active Energy (Class 1 and 2) (Quality Control) Order, 2018.

The order will come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

Once it enters into force, the Plugs and Scocket-outlets shall comply with Indian Standard (IS:1293), the Alternating Current Direct Connected Static Prepayment Meters for Active Energy (Class 1 and 2) shall comply with Indian Standard (IS: 15884).
