India - Draft Helmets (Quality Control) Order, 2020

India Ministry of Road Transport and Highways announced Draft Helmets (Quality Control) Order, 2020.

The notification for bringing Protective Headgear (Helmet) for two wheeler riders under compulsory certification under the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 is to ensure safety of riders, Indian Standards i.e. IS 4151:2015 are mandatory for helmets for two wheeler riders.
