India - AIS-145 Amendment 3 - Additional Safety Features for Category M & N Vehicles

​Recently Amendment No. 3 (07/2019 ) to AIS-145 - Additional Safety features for Category M & N Vehicles has been released.

AIS-145 enforced several safety features to vehicles marketed in India such as seatbelts telltale, passenger airbags, speed limit alarm among others.

This standard has set up crucial changes in the Indian automotive industry and was firstly enforced in July 2019. Now, the third amendment to the original standard has been published.
