EU - Testing Conditions for Kitchenware Articles in Contact with Foodstuffs
The European Union Reference Laboratory for Food Contact Materials (EURL-FCM) and National Reference Laboratories (NRLs) have established harmonized test conditions, including contact temperature and time, to ensure consistent measurement results for kitchenware articles intended for home use under Regulation (EU) 2017/625.
These conditions may also serve as a basis for developing test conditions for industrial-use articles, though adjustments may be required.
The fifth edition of the kitchenware report, with comprehensive annexes, replaces previous guidelines and reports published between 2009 and 2023.
