EU - Scooter Inside the Scope of the Machinery Directive

​Scooters require a vehicle registration. They are not assessed according to Directive 2002/24/EC and therefore the exemption under 2006/42/EC, Article 1 (2) (e) does not apply.
In addition to vehicle approval, the CE marking according to the Machinery Directive is therefore required.
