EU - New Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) Requirements for France

Since July 1, 2020, there have been new developments in the field of SAR.
Any RF equipment being operated at a distance of less than 20cm or having an output power of greater equal to 20mW Eirp, requires either SAR testing or assessment.

In addition to the above assessment, the values determined as part of the conformity assessment procedure, as well as the precaution for the use of equipment must be mentioned in the operating instructions for each item of equipment.
