EU - Draft Regulation Approving Sulphur Dioxide as an Active Substance in Biocides

​This draft Commission Implementing Regulation approves sulfur dioxide generated from sulfur by combustion as an active substance for use in biocidal products of product-type 4 (Food and Feed Area - used for disinfection of equipment, containers, consumption utensils, surfaces of pipework associated with the production, transport, storage or consumption of food or feed (including drinking water) for humans and animals as well as used to impregnate materials which may enter into contact with food).
