EU - Draft Commission Delegated Directive Amending Annex III and IV to Directive 2011/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council as Regards Exemption Points for Lead and Cadmium in Certain Electrical and Electronic Equipment

The European Commission has announced a draft Commission delegated directive amending Annex III and IV to Directive 2011/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards exemption points for lead and cadmium in certain electrical and electronic equipment.

This draft Commission Delegated Directive concerns applications for specific and temporary exemption from the RoHS 2 (Directive 2011/65/EU) substance restrictions. The criteria for granting renewal are mostly met and it is proposed to renew and amend certain exemptions under the Annex III and IV of the Directive 2011/65/EU.
