EU - Commission Implementing Decision EU 2026/2032 Updating Toy Safety Standards on Chemistry Sets, Formamide and Flame Retardants
The Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2026/2032 amending Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/740 as regards harmonized standards for experimental sets for chemistry and related activities, formamide in foam toy materials and certain chlorinated phosphorus flame retardants in toy materials, was published on the Official Journal on September 14, 2026.
The Annex to Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/740 is amended as follow:

Rows 12 and 13 are added:

This Decision enters into force on September 14, 2026.
As for row 4 in the Annex to Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/740, which is to be deleted, shall apply from March 14, 2028.
