​Use of Silver phosphate glass as biocidal active substance in food contact materials

In the customer information 09/2019 it was explained that the approval process was suspended/interrupted because the substance is now being evaluated, with uncertain outcome. This meant that it was not possible to use the usual transition period.

However, the evaluation process has been restarted and, pending a final decision, silver phosphate glass is thus permitted as a biocidal active substance for PT4.
