​RTS 29.02.01:21 Energy Efficiency Requirements for Luminaires establishes the minimum energy performance ranges, test methods, labeling and conformity assessment procedure, which must be met by the lamps and luminaires described in this regulation, which are manufactured, imported, used and marketed within the Salvadoran territory.

It applies to all lamps for general lighting, LED luminaires for interiors, LED luminaires for outdoor and for public lighting, in electrical supply voltages from 100 V to 480 V at 60 Hz. It also applies to LED modules.
