Egypt - ES 6000-1 Updated Safety Standard for Household Refrigerating Appliances
This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 246 /2025 that gives the producers and importers a twelve-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 6000-1" Household refrigerating appliances –Characteristics and test methods - Part 1: General requirements".
Worth mentioning is that this standard is technically identical with IEC 62552-1:2015/AMD1:2020.
