Egypt - ES 1781 Updated Safety Standards for Household and similar Electrical Appliances

This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 246 /2025 that gives the producers and importers a twelve-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 1781 "Safety requirements for household and similar electrical appliance- General requirements" .

Worth mentioning is that this standard is technically identical with modification with IEC 60335-1:2020.
