Ecuador - Technical Regulation RTE INEN 141 (2R) "Safety and Energy Efficiency Requirements for Distribution Transformers"

The Subsecretariat of Quality of the Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade, Investment and Fisheries published the Second Revision (2R) of Ecuadorian Technical Regulation RTE INEN 141 "Safety and Energy Efficiency Requirements for Distribution Transformers".
The regulation establishes the requirements to be complied by distribution transformers, prior to their commercialization in order to protect human safety as well as prevent misleading practices.

The reviewed requirements of RTE INEN 141 (2R) enters into force after 6 months of being published.
