Ecuador (INEN) - Technical Regulation for Hydraulic System Brake Fluids (Non-Petroleum Based)

​On October 29, 2020, the Ecuadorian Standardization Service has released the second version of the RTE INEN031 for non-petroleum based hydraulic system brake fluids.
This technical regulation is not applicable to petroleum and silicon-based brake fluids.

The certification process is mandatory but the authority may accept test reports from accredited laboratories (mutual agreement with Ecuador) compliant with this technical regulation.
