Ecuador - Draft Fourth Revision of Ecuadorian Technical Regulation PRTE INEN 044 (4R) “Lighters”
The Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade and Investments has announced a draft Fourth Revision of Ecuadorian Technical Regulation PRTE INEN 044 (4R) “Lighters”.
This Ecuadorian technical regulation applies to the following products, whether domestic or imported, that are marketed in Ecuador:
Cigarette lighters, cigar lighters, and pipe lighters. Utility lighters, also known as grill lighters, fireplace lighters, lighting rods, or gas matches, and similar devices.
This Ecuadorian technical regulation does not apply to Matches.
