Colombia - Resolution 1440 of September 20, 2021 on Glass/Ceramic Tableware and Kitchenware

​​The notified Resolution establishes the technical regulation for articles of glass, ceramic and glass-ceramic, tableware and kitchenware of glass, ceramic and glass-ceramic in contact with foodstuffs, and ceramic ware used for cooking food, which are manufactured or imported for marketing in the national territory, with the aim of minimizing the risks to human health and safety that may arise from the release of lead and cadmium, and preventing deceptive practices.

The technical regulation shall enter into force six (6) months after its publication in the Official Journal.
