China - SJ/T 11364-2024 for RoHS Labeling Requirements Implemented since April 1, 2025

​On December 10, 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China issued Announcement No. 39 of 2024. This announcement includes the amended electronic industry standard "Requirements for the Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electronic and Electrical Products" (SJ/T 11364-2014), now updated to SJ/T 11364-2024. This updated version will become effective from April 1, 2025.

The main amendments in SJ/T 11364-2024 include the addition of four new hazardous substances, increasing the total from six to ten, the removal of regulations regarding the display method of production dates, the introduction of QR code-based labeling methods and requirements, the addition of requirements for using web pages as display media, and the inclusion of technical documentation storage requirements for hazardous substance content information tables.​
