China - SAMR Announcement on Adjusting Certification Methods of 16 Product Groups within CCC Scope

​Starting from January 1, 2027, 16 kinds of products such as fuses, low-power motors, electric tools, electric grinders, electric hammers, DC arc welding machines, TIG arc welding machines, MIG/MAG arc welding machines, plasma arc cutting machines, automobile safety glass, automobile seat belts, motor vehicle external lighting and optical signal devices, indirect vision devices for motor vehicles, car seats and seat headrests, car driving recorders, and body reflective signs shall obtain CCC certification certificates and place CCC certification marks before they can be shipped, sold, imported or used in other business activities. The self-declaration of related products in the ”Mandatory certification Product Compliance Self-declaration Information Submission System" will be canceled.

From July 1, 2026, designated certification bodies will begin to accept CCC certification applications for the above 16 products.​
