China - Proposed Mandatory Standards for Battery Chargers for Electric Wheelchairs and Color Printers, etc.
On October 28, 2026, China ’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) published draft and revision of the mandatory national standards:
- Safety technical specification of chargers for powered wheelchairs
- Requisitions of safety and protection for color printer and processer (to replace GB 22449—2008)
- Technical requirements for lock safety - Part 1:General requirements (to replace GB 21556-2008)
