China - Propose New and Updated Mandatory Standards Related to Vehicle

​​On October 20, 2026, China ’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) published a series of new or updated mandatory national standards related to Vehicle:

- Requirements for installation of the external lighting and light-signaling devices for motor vehicles and their trailers (to replace GB 4785-2019)

- Requirements for vehicle data security (to replace GB/T 44464—2024)

- On-board radio broadcast receiving system 

- Intelligent and connected vehicle — Safety requirements for parking combined driving assistance system (to replace GB/T 41630-2022)

- Intelligent and connected vehicle — Safety requirements for automated parking system​
