China - Propose Draft Announcement on Catalogue of Products Subject to Energy Efficiency Labelling (16th Batch)

China National Development and Reform Commission proposes draft Announcement on Catalogue of Products Subject to Energy Efficiency Labelling (16th Batch):

It adds 3 energy efficiency rules:
- CEL 043-2023: Welding Machines;
- CEL 044-2023: LED Flat Panel Luminaires;
- CEL 045-2023: Commercial Induction Cookers.

It updates 2 previous energy efficiency rules:
- CEL 018-2023: AC Contactors; 
- CEL 014-2023: Displays.

It abolishes 1 energy efficiency rule, the Self-Ballasted Fluorescent Lamp for General Use no longer requires energy efficiency label from January 1, 2024:
- CEL 005-2016: Self-Ballasted Fluorescent Lamp for General Use.

The draft announcement receives public comments until September 21, 2023.​
