China - NHC 2022 Notice No.1 New Additive and Resin for Food Contact Materials
China National Health Commission (NHC) recently approved new additives and resins, as well as extended scope of usage in food contact materials and articles, in the announcement No. 1 of 2022.
New additive
- 2-Propenoic acid, polymer with 2,5-furandione and 2-propenamide, sodium salt
- 1,3,5-Triallyl-1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6 (1H,3H,5H-trione)
- C16-18-Fatty acids, esters with pentaerythritol
- Vitamin E (dl-α-Tocopherol acetate)
- 1-Decene,homopolymer, hydrogenated
- Hexanedioic acid, polymer with 1,2-propanediol
Extended scope for certain additive
- Maltodextrin
- C.I. pigment blue 15
- C.I. pigment red 254
- Carbon black
- C.I. pigment yellow 180
- Hydroxyethyl cellulose
- 2-Propenoic acid, polymer with ethenylbenzene
- 2-Propenoic acid, polymer with ethenylbenzene
- 2-Propenoic acid, polymer with sodium hypophosphite, sodium salt
- Rosin, ester with glycerol
New resin
- Copolymer of acrylic acid, styrene, acrylic acid ethyl ester, acrylic acid 2-ethylhexylester, methacrylic acid methyl ester
- Polymer of cyclohexanedimethanol-1,4, ethylene glycol, 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propanediol, isophthalicacid, dimethyl terephthalate and trimellitic anhydride
New disinfectant raw materials
