China - MIIT Published the Plan to Draft and Revise 14 Mandatory Standards

​In June 2023, the China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the first batch standards to be drafted and revised. 

These standards includes: Restriction Requirements for Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products; Lithium-ion Cells and Batteries used in Electric Tools/Toys/Portable Household Appliances, Motor vehicles-Windshield Demisting and Defrosting Systems, Electric Vehicles Traction Battery Safety Requirements, etc., total 14 standards.
