China - Draft Indicative List of long-chain PFCAs, PFOA, PFHxS Controlled under International Conventions

​China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment published a draft indicative list of long-chain perfluorocarboxylic acids (PFCAs), their salts and related compounds, as well as draft updated indicative lists of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), its salts and related compounds, and perfluorohexane sulfonic acid (PFHxS), its salts and related compounds for the implementation of the Stockholm and Rotterdam conventions, under which these chemicals would be eliminated or otherwise controlled. The ministry seeks comments on the drafts through May 19, 2025.​
