​Central America Technical Regulations - RTCA 23.01.78:20 establish Energy Efficiency Requirements for Split Type (Inverter), Variable Coolant Flow, Free Discharge and Ductless Air Conditioners. The standard includes conformity assessment procedures and labeling to be complied by the products in scope, manufactured, imported or commercialized in the countries belonging to the Economic Integrtion Council of Ministers (COMIECO).

This standard is not applicable to the items listed in article 2.1.
