Canada - Regulations Amending the Single-use Plastics Prohibition Regulations

​The proposed Regulations Amending the Single-use Plastics Prohibition Regulations remove the prohibition on manufacture, import and sale for the purpose of export of six categories of single-use plastic items (i.e., single-use plastic checkout bags, cutlery, certain foodservice ware, ring carriers, stir sticks and, with some exceptions, straws) set out in the Single-use Plastics Prohibition Regulations.
