Brazil - Inmetro Public Consultation No. 14, May 7, 2025

​National  Institute  of  Metrology,  Quality  and  Technology  -  Inmetro,  issued  Public Consultation No. 14, May 7, 2025, a proposal to prohibit the manufacture, import, and sale of compact fluorescent lamps with ballast integrated into the base, electromagnetic ballasts for tubular fluorescent lamps, and electronic ballasts powered by alternating current for rectilinear, circular, and compact tubular fluorescent lamps, whose Conformity Assessment Requirements and Technical Regulations were approved by Inmetro Ordinances No. 17, of January 14, 2022,  No. 500, of December 20, 2021, and No. 78, of February 4, 2021 - Consolidated, respectively.
