Brazil - Establishes the Positive Lists of Substances Authorized for the Manufacture of Regenerated Cellulose Films Intended to Come into Contact with Food and its Conditions of Use

This Normative Instruction specifies the authorized substances and their conditions for use when manufacturing regenerated cellulose films that come into contact with food. 

It introduces positive lists for substances, categorized by the type of film: uncoated films (Annex I) and coated films with cellulose derivatives (Annex II). 

These lists, along with their respective limits and specifications, ensure materials used in food-contact films comply with safety and regulatory standards.​
