Brazil - CONTRAN - Resolution 703:2017 - Requirements for The Performance and Location of Rearview Mirrors

On October 10, 2018, the National Traffic Council or CONTRAN has published the Resolution 703 on Requirements for The Performance and Location of Rearview Mirrors.

This resolution repeals resolutions 226 of 2007 and 43 of 1998.

The requirements contained in this resolution apply to:

I - new vehicle projects or imported 5 years from the day of release and

II - 7 years from the release of this resolution for production vehicles,

III - can also be adopted partially and totally prior to the abovementioned periods
