Brazil - Conformity Assessment Procedures for Three-phase Induction Electric Motors with Squirrel Cage Rotor – Consolidated
National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology - Inmetro, issued Ordinance 290, July 7, 2021, that approves the consolidation of the regulation for three-phase induction electric motors with squirrel cage rotor in the form of the conformity assessment requirements and the specifications for the conformity identification seal, according to the National Energy Conservation Label (ENCE), respectively, in Annexes I and II of this Ordinance.
The aim of the consolidation of the regulation is to attend decree no. 10.139 of November 28, 2019.
Ordinance No. 290 revokes on its effective date:
- Inmetro Ordinance No. 488, December 8, 2010, published in the Brazilian Official Gazette on December 10, 2010, section 1, page 95; and
- Inmetro Ordinance No. 200, June 3, 2020, published in the Brazilian Official Gazette on July 13, 2020, section 1, page 22, previously notified through G/TBT/N/BRA/1044
The aim of the consolidation of the regulation is to attend decree no. 10.139 of November 28, 2019.
