Brazil - Approves Conformity Assessment Requirements for School Articles - Consolidated

National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology - Inmetro, issued Ordinance no. 423, of October 8, 2021, which approves Conformity Assessment Requirements for School Articles.

The aim of the consolidation of the regulation is to meet requirements of decree no. 10.139 of November 28, 2020.

Inmetro Ordinance No. 423 revokes the following acts on the effective date of adoption:

I - Ordinance Inmetro no. 481, of December 7, 2010, published in the Federal Official Gazette of December 9, 2010, section 1, page 98, previously notified through G/TBT/N/BRA/375/Add.1

II - Ordinance Inmetro no. 262, of May 18, 2012, published in the Federal Official Gazette of May 22, 2012, section 1, pages 128 to 131, previously notified through G/TBT/N/BRA/375/Add.3

III - Ordinance Inmetro no. 69, of March 28, 2017, published in the Federal Official Gazette of March 30, 2017, section 1, pages 117 to 118;

IV - Ordinance Inmetro no. 148, of March 26, 2019, published in the Federal Official Gazette of April 1, 2019, section 1, page 85, previously notified through G/TBT/N/BRA/375/Add.6

V - Ordinance Inmetro no. 237, of July 2, 2020, published in the Federal Official Gazette of July 13, 2020, section 1, page 23, previously notified through G/TBT/N/BRA/375/Add.9
