Bangladesh - BSTI Extended list of compulsory products
In August 2024, Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) published an extended list of 26 compulsory products.
Besides a range of assorted food items, other products include: cotton bed sheets, vacuum flask, battery operated wall clocks, electric kettles for domestic use, circuit breakers...etc.
Standard marks may be placed on the items should they comply with the stipulated Bangladesh standards listed in the column (3).
