Algeria - Executive Decree No. 26-97: New Procedures for the Approval of Electronic Communications Equipment

​​The executive decree No. 26-97 of 12 Sha’ban 1447 corresponding to January 31, 2026, setting the conditions and procedures for the approval of electronic communications equipment has been published in the official Journal of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria No. 13 of February 15, 2026.

This decree aims to establish the conditions and procedures for the approval of electronic communications equipment, including the conditions for submitting approval applications, processing deadlines, as well as the procedures for the issue and the validity of the certificate of conformity.
